SWEET THOUGHTS - Just missed hitting the board on October 4th at Oak Tree at Santa Anita. With decent morning odds in this race, she has my interest. ERMINE SLIPPERS - I seem to always make money betting Clement horses on the turf. That barn has a strong win percent for this distance/surface. A definite class advantage goes to this horse. An indication she will be very competitive in this grass race. PRUTE HILL - Ran a less than stellar race at Belmont last out. Racing with the benefit of a better track puts this filly at the top of my list of contenders. I always like to see a filly getting Lasix for the 2nd time. This one fits the bill. The addition of blinks usually means that a trainer wants a thoroughbred to show more zip or to keep her attention focused. SIREN SERENADE - Last race October 8th was pretty strong for a Maiden Special race so this filly's effort wasn't all that bad. This filly earned a strong speed figure of 95 in her last event. That speed fig should be lofty enough to prove victorious this time around.

Vulnerable Contenders: #2B DISTINCTIVELY (ML=5/2), #8 I'LL TAKE TWO (ML=7/2), #1 DIZA (ML=5/1),

DISTINCTIVELY - I'm foretelling a lackluster attempt out of her this time around. I'LL TAKE TWO - When examining today's class rating, she will have to garner a much better rating than in the last race to battle in this turf route. DIZA - This filly showed very liitle last time out of the box. Finished sixth in her most recent performance with a pedestrian speed rating. When I look at today's Equibase class figure, it would take an improved performance to win after that in this group.

Top HatGUEST COMMENTARY: The Turf Man - PRUTE HILL - Gambling on this noble animal is a smart move. She possesses the best speed figure in grass routes.

I've got to go with INTITRICKU. ICE ON THE SIDE - Looks decent to be close to the lead at the first call. Blinkers on may be the difference maker here. GODDESS ANGEL - Has to be given a chance against this group of horses displaying competitive numbers lately and an average speed rating of 51 under similar conditions. With a competitive 53 speed figure last time out, will unquestionably be a factor in this outing.

DONA AMELIA (CHI) - Average class figure is tops in this group. I think that is a big advantage for a grass race. The jock/handler duo of Berrio and Avila has a strong ROI together. Look for this one to go all the way at some respectable odds in this field. Ran fourth in last race, but not more than five from the lead at the end. SUNNY PEACE (GB) - I took a look at this filly's finishes. She's almost always on the board. This filly is in fine form. Finished third on Nov 1st. NO KA OI - This rider fits well with this horse. The mare and Garcia together win at a rate of 50 percent.

Vulnerable Contenders: #10 BIG BERTHA (GER) (ML=8/5), #3 PRECIOUS UNION (ML=4/1), #1 MULTITASKER (ML=6/1),

BIG BERTHA (GER) - Hasn't raced or had any morning drills since October 25th. Not much value on this favorite. PRECIOUS UNION - 101/98/91, are the lessening speed ratings for this steed. Hasn't hit the board in any short distance races recently. Not likely to see her doing it this time either. MULTITASKER - Disappointing speed fig last time out at Oak Tree at Santa Anita at 6 furlongs. Don't believe this vulnerable equine will improve too much today.

With a strong 72 Equibase Speed Fig last time out, will surely be a factor in this race. The average class fig alone makes this one a contender. BOBS DUELING BEDUINO - Overall the Equibase speed figs of this horse look very good in this race. Horses who have been prepared to race at this distance and surface by Moore have shown sharp results lately. POINTOFRESCUE - Has longshot possibilities and could win at boxcar odds. Formidable average Equibase Speed Figures in short races make this racer a solid choice.
