"Availability of these detailed performance statistics complement the NTRA’s efforts to promote our sport’s individual participants by putting more information in the hands of consumers and making it easier for them to follow the racing at their favorite tracks," said Hank Zeitlin, executive vice president of marketing and sales for Equibase Company. Jockey and trainer statistics include number of starts, wins, seconds, thirds, win percentage and in-the-money percentage for all races, and then breaks the statistics out by surface (main track and turf course) and distance (sprint and route). Post position statistics include starts, wins and win percentage for each post position in sprint, distance and turf races.
