Tuesday, May 1, 2001 MEDIA ADVISORY EQUIBASE UNVEILS NEW MEDIA CHART To facilitate media coverage of the Triple Crown and other races, Equibase Company LLC today introduced a new media chart that incorporates the pertinent information wanted by journalists working on deadline into an easy-to-read format. Developed over the course of several weeks with input from representatives of the National Turf Writers Association (NTWA) and Turf Publicists of America (TPA), the media chart is one page in most cases, with the exception of some larger fields where the footnotes may appear on a second page. The media chart is available upon request at any track on any race day and is created using the Company's eBaseTM field collection system. The built-in quality control features of eBaseTM ensure the accuracy of the chart while the system's flexibility allows the chart to be produced through any stage of completion for those journalists who don't need or want all the detailed race information.
